Coming to a Branch Near You – With Shared Branching
Personalized service is a major benefit of banking at Atlantic City Firemen’s Federal Credit Union, and you don’t have to sacrifice convenience to get it. Take advantage of Atlantic City Firemen’s Federal Credit Union’s shared branching services through CO-OP Shared Branch and you can access your account at any of 5,100 credit union branches nationwide, often just as if you were visiting one of our own.
The national CO-OP Shared Branch network links participating credit unions electronically, allowing credit union members to do “branch banking” even when the branch near you doesn’t belong to Atlantic City Firemen’s Federal Credit Union. This is a huge benefit to Atlantic City Firemen’s Federal Credit Unionmembers who travel, whose workplaces don’t coincide with our branch locations, or who simply enjoy the convenience of expanded access. Wherever you are across the country, chances are good there’s a shared branch near you.
Shared branching is yet another example of credit union membership offering the best of both worlds—individualized attention and nationwide availability. The cooperative spirit of credit unions allows them to work with each other in ways that competing banks typically do not. Visit www.co-opsharedbranch.org or download the Shared Branch Locator app for iPhone or Android to find branches nearest you. You can also look for the “CO-OP Shared Branch” logo on the door of any credit union branch.
At a CO-OP Shared Branch location you can:
Make deposits and withdrawals
Make loan payments
Receive loan advances
Access VISA® or MasterCard® funds
Many shared branches also offer transfers, statement histories, money orders, traveler’s checks and notary services. Since services vary from one location to another, check with individual branches before your visit for a complete menu of available services.
In order to gain access to these shared branching services, all you need is:
1. Your credit union's name- Atlantic City Firemen's Federal Credit Union
2. Your Account and Suffix Numbers
3. Valid government-issued photo ID
When You Need an ATM, a Bigger Network is Better
Surcharge Free is Even Better
When you need convenient ATM access without paying a surcharge, a bigger network is better. Atlantic City Firemen’s Federal Credit Union is pleased to belong to the CO-OP ATM network, the largest credit union-owned ATM network in the United States. The CO-OP ATM network operates nearly 30,000 surcharge-free ATMs across the country for the benefit of credit union members. How convenient is that?
Anyone who’s had to wander from place to place searching for an in-network ATM knows the value of more locations. CO-OP ATM network locations are found in credit union branches, supermarkets and 7-Eleven® stores, as well as a multitude of freestanding locations. Simply put, they’re everywhere. And they are always surcharge-free for [your credit union] members.
What’s even better than surcharge-free ATM access? How about choice? Suppose you’re standing in front of an ATM that doesn’t belong to the CO-OP ATM network and you really need the funds, regardless of surcharge. Your [your credit union] ATM card also works at ATMs worldwide, because CO-OP Network has links to NYCE, STAR, Cirrus, Pulse and Plus. You get the best of both worlds: the largest network of fee-free ATMs and expanded choices when fees are not an issue.
The CO-OP ATM network isn’t just bigger; it’s better. It’s designed strictly for the benefit of its credit union members—no collecting fees in order to turn a profit and no making money at your expense. Because credit unions and the ATM network they support are owned by members, the dividends (convenience, free access) are yours. It’s the largest surcharge-free credit union ATM network on the planet—and it belongs to you.
